The right medicine for a vital business

With Australia’s ageing population and positive community attitudes towards health and wellbeing, the pharmacy industry is positioned for growth. And following a significant business merger, TerryWhite Chemmart—one of Australia’s leading retail pharmacy networks—needed a more streamlined system to continue to lead the charge in delivering frontline healthcare.

Challenge accepted

As a result of the 2016 merger, TerryWhite Chemmart is now the largest pharmacy group in Australia, with more than 450 community pharmacies across Australia. But to survive in the current climate the business needed to evolve, diversify and adapt to meet new challenges and stay relevant. 

Our immediate challenge was to consolidate their marketing material from a number of warehouse spaces to our built-for-purpose location at Rothfield. Additionally, they required a centralised supplier to produce, store and distribute their marketing and point of sale (POS) materials, across their huge network of stores. We had the expertise, knowledge and facilities to fill their prescription.

Solution, delivered

We provided a holistic end-to-end solution to TWC—from the production of 17 marketing campaigns per year—comprising retail catalogues, flyers and associated POS—for their entire 400+ network of stores, to the pick and packing of the associated kits—in some instances up to 60 products per kit.

Our services and facilities were more than capable of handling the substantial quantity of materials required for such a wide network—with up to 1,600,000 catalogues and 100,000 flyers produced every campaign.

Beyond campaign related materials, we were also essential in producing complementary POS items and marketing materials with the inbuilt capacity to store them securely and deliver them on demand—with the added benefit of Rothfield Connect to effectively manage and control all produced and stored materials.

The TWC business has seen significant financial growth in recent periods and we’ve been there every step of the way to support their brand and business. We also alleviated the delivery deadline dread—at the click of a button our team picks, packs and dispatches orders within 24 hours—the majority within the same day.
